Aberlour bottles this single malt whisky without chill filtration. This means the whisky is filtered at normal ambient temperature through a metal sieve, so that only residue from the wood cask is caught; flavour carriers such as fats and oils remain in the whisky, supporting its aroma and flavour. The whisky matured in former sherry and bourbon casks.

- Nose: Fruity at first – citrus fruit and wild strawberries – a little vanilla

Sehr guter Single Malt für Kenner

Bietet weit mehr als die Standardabfüllung und das zu einem sehr guten,fairen Preis. Wer einen tollen nicht rauchigen Single Malt sucht, wird hier fündig. Die 48% Vol. sind gut eingebunden und bringen die Aromen voll zur Geltung. Für mich eher 4,5 Sterne wert.
Klare Kaufempfehlung für Einsteiger und Fortgeschrittene!!

Erstaunlich fruchtiges Aroma - Ansonsten aber auch angenehm komplex mit feinen Gewürz- und Sherry-Anteilen. Zu diesem Preis ein sehr solider Whisky.
