Near the distillery on the Scottish island of Islay is a beach called Machir Bay.
The barrels used for this bottling are 3-5 years old.
The single malt was ripened in exOloroso sherry barrels for eight weeks.
Aroma: strong peat flavors and a soft blend of mixed fruits.
Taste: traces of vanilla and tropical fruits with a tremendous sweetness.
Finish: fresh and peaty with a long finish.
