Tullamore Dew originally comes from the Tullamore Distillery, which was founded in 1829 in Tullamore, County Offaly.
Daniel E. Williams ran the distillery at the end of the 19th century and gave the whiskey its current name (Dew means (morning) dew).

After the big crisis in the Irish whiskey market, the distillery closed in 1954.
The Tullamore Dew brand came to John Power & Son.
Today Tullamore Dew belongs to Beam Global and is produced in the Irish distillery Midleton.

Tullamore Dew is a pleasantly light and very soft whiskey.

Schöner Krug mit mäßigen Inhalt. Keine große Komplexität, etwas bitter, trocken, kurzer Abgang. Gegen einen Bushmills 10 J. hat der Tullamore Dew Crock keine Chance. Also besser den Krug zulassen ...!
