The distillery was founded in 1897 in a deep valley between the towns of Elgin and Rothes.
The location and Victorian design make this Speyside distillery one of the most beautiful and charming in the country.
Aroma: clearly citrus and orange peel, fresh herbs - especially mint - pine and oak - sweet, malted barley
Taste: soft in the taste, again the herbs and the sweetness, anise and malt - in the background some smoke
Finish: a long, slightly sweet finish with lots of barley and malt

Für den Peis OK, wirkt noch etwas jung, ich würde zu dem Preis eher zu einem Blend raten

Durchaus ein guter Malt, gerade zu diesem Preis. Mir lieber als Glenmorangie 10. Würde ich ihn wieder kaufen ? Eher nicht. Dann lieber z.B. einen Glen Elgin 12.
