Laphroaig's 18-year-old Single Malt Whisky, matured in exBourbon-Barrels - now rarely sown and not much to find.
Nose: roasted toast at first, some salt and orange - with light aromas of coffee beans, then fruity - with smoke and light peat
Taste: wonderfully rounded, very mouth-filling, light wood tones and again the peat smoke - dark chocolate, plums and star anise - in the background some sea salt
Finish: very long finish - now the oranges and sea salt again - some licorice and herrings
