Product information "Aberlour 12 year old Double Cask Matured 40%vol. 0,7l"
The 12-year-old is medium heavy to fine spicy, sherry-like with very beautiful honey and spicy notes.
This malt was put into traditional oak barrels after the first ripening, then sherry casks for a second maturing.

Nose: fruity-soft aromas, clearly ripe apples and caramel
Taste: the fruits remain, to dark sherry notes, again caramel - then chocolate - spicy, especially cinnamon and ginger
Finish: long finish, warm and spicy
