Benriach 10 Year Old Curiositas Peated Malt 46% vol. 0,7l
The 10-year-old Benriach has a strong peat aroma and flavor, untypical of a present-day Speyside malt.
With this Speyside peat bomb Benriach wants to commemorate the Speyside whiskys of the late 19th century.
During this time, Speyside malts were also mild to vigorous.
Nose: reminiscent of a medicine cabinet, plus fresh grass and heather - warm asphalt, slightly sweet
Taste: sweet and strongly smoky, clear iodine and pepper - very warm with nutty notes
Finish: oak, tar and peat - some fennel, slightly sweet on the finish

Benriach delivers. Peated Speyside style. Try it. It´s not a Islay, it stand for itself just fine.
