This strictly limited single malt whisky is distilled for seven years in ex-Rioja casks before being aged in an alcohol content of 46%vol. is bottled.
Only a total of eight barrels were produced - that's almost 2,980 bottles worldwide and only 800 bottles are available for export - an absolute rarity.
Maturation in the red wine casks gave the whiskey a beautiful reddish color and a fruity nose reminiscent of homemade berry jam.
The taste is classic peaty, full-bodied and unique with well-balanced notes of sweetness, fruit and smoke.
