What happens when two of the most influential men in the rum world join forces? That's right - you don't get an action movie, but something significantly stronger: the Foursquare Fidelitas.

Behind this noble bottle are Luca Gargano, the charismatic head of Velier, and Richard Seale, Master Distiller of the legendary Foursquare Distillery in Barbados – a man who probably had barrel storage as his childhood bedroom. Since 2016, the two have been tinkering together on limited-edition bottlings that have rum fans around the world gasping for breath (and buying bottles).

Fidelitas is now theirtenth collaboration - and they're celebrating like they celebrate in Barbados: with a 20-year-old rum that has rested for 19 years in a bourbon barrel, only to then spend another year in a Marsala barrel on "vacation in Italy."

The whole thing was distilled in 2004 - in a combination of Column Coffey Still and Double Retort Pot Still. The result? A "single blended rum," which means: everything from one house, but with two souls. Almost like Luca and Richard themselves.

At 55% vol. Cask Strength, uncolored, unsweetened - but with only 2,160 bottles worldwide - Fidelitas is more of a collector's item than a party companion.

In short: A rum like a good friendship - rare, full of character, and with a decent maturity.
