These exclusive bottlings were first refined in exquisite first-fill sherry casks and created especially for the German market to mark the German importer's 50th anniversary.

Hunter Laing's new Islay bottlings combine the powerful intensity of the island with the elegant maturity of selected sherry casks.Matured in a particularly high-quality cask combination, there are two versions to choose from: the Sherry Cask Edition with 46% vol. and the significantly more intense Scarabus Sherry Batch Strength Edition with 57% vol. - both offering extremely attractive value for money.

The Limited Edition Scarabus Sherry Batch Strength was deliberately bottled at a strong alcohol strength of 57% vol. to give the Islay single malt additional intensity that lingers for a particularly long time. It is an exclusive edition, refined for the first time with first-fill sherry casks, some of which were matured entirely in first-fill Oloroso casks. Here, intense Islay power meets fruity sherry aromas – an interplay that combines depth, character, and expression.
