• Nose: powerful and complex - juicy stone fruits such as apricots and peaches meet baked apples, honey, and a subtle malt aroma - behind this, warm hints of beeswax, caramel, and a fine floral sweetness unfold, complemented by a hint of herbal spice.
• Palate: oily, full-bodied, and full of character - the typical, slightly meaty Craigellachie style is clearly evident and is fruitily complemented by the Madeira maturation - roasted almonds, candied orange peel, and raisins combine with malt sugar, a pleasant acidity, and subtle oak spice - a strong, yet well-balanced texture remains on the palate. stick
