About the Löwenthal Winery
The Löwenthal Winery was founded in the summer of 2022 in Eschbach on the Southern Wine Route. Its name comes from the Löwenthal, a picturesque valley that stretches from the Madenburg castle ruins through the Haardt Mountains and surrounds the winery's vineyards. On over 20 hectares of vineyards, the team led by operations manager Frank Keilbach cultivates Burgundy varieties such as Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay. Soils of clay, loess, and red sandstone provide ideal conditions for these grape varieties. With a clear focus on quality, traditional methods are combined with modern technologies to produce Burgundy-style wines. The wines are divided into a three-tiered quality pyramid, symbolized by paws on the bottles.
