A.D. In spring 2025, Rattray will surprise with the previously little-known peaty distillate from the still young InchDairnie Distillery in the Lowlands.
Under the name Finglassie, InchDairnie presents its peaty malt variant.
The first Finglassie under the Rattray label has a lot to offer – Tommy Boyd selected a six-year full maturation in a 1st-fill Rioja barrel, and it's bursting with wood smoke, barbecue aromas, and red fruits. The palate is characterized by Christmas jam, peat, and roasted salty almonds. A medicinally salty and fruity finish lingers on the palate.
