Nc’nean is revolutionizing sustainable whisky production from the wildly romantic coast of the Morvern Peninsula. The woman-run Highland distillery only uses Scottish organic barley, bottles in recycled glass bottles, relies on 100 percent renewable energy - and has painstakingly achieved exemplary net zero status.

Around a month ago, the pioneers released the first and limited Nc'nean bottling from a White Port Cask as a single barrel for the winner of the in-house cocktail competition. With the Single Cask Nc'nean Aon - White Port Cask #20-200, the sought-after combination is now available exclusively for the German market.

From May 2020, the single malt initially matured in a first fill bourbon cask, and from March 2024 it was treated to a finale in a barrel pre-filled with white port wine. The result is deliciously creamy and fuses notes of apricot ice cream with candied grapefruit and roasted cashews. Nc'nean can be experienced by a maximum of 250 fans in Germany.
