From heaven, not only does the Christ Child come from, but also two heavenly small-batch series. Using strong imagery, the Horsemen, the four horsemen of the apocalypse, and the Archangels, the archangel quartet, deliver their prophecy: cask-strong delight. 
For this, the bottlings rely on Signatory Vintage's almost biblical wooden treasure back.
Leader of the angels, conqueror of the devil and weigher of souls: Worthy of the position of the archangel Michael, Archangel No.4 is the oldest and at the same time strongest bottling in the series. The Speyside single malt matured for 17 years in three First Fill Oloroso Sherry Butts before they were combined to form the Glenlivet 17 year old 2007/2024. The brilliant series finale delivers at 64.7%vol. Cask Strength heavenly notes of dried fruits, nuts, dark chocolate and espresso.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Glenlivet 17 year old 2007/2024 Archangel No. 4 tastes like

• Nose: sweet syrup and dark chocolate are present, followed by juicy dried fruits and roasted nuts
• Palate: soft and mouth-filling - clearly the Sherry influence, with dried dates and figs, prunes and chocolate - in the background the nuts and Hints of espresso
• Finish: spicier in the finish than expected, plus the sherry again, dried fruits and nuts
