Nc'nean does the basic work under the leadership of Annabel Thomas for the sustainable production of Scotch Whisky.
The distillery from a wildly romantic, remote corner of the Highlands works exclusively with Scottish organic wine. Barley and 100 percent renewable energy.
Distillation has been running on the coast of the Morvern peninsula since 2017.
The cask for the Nc'nean Aon 6 year old 1st-fill Bourbon Cask #17-232 was 2017, in the first year of distillation filled. The creamy single malt with notes of gingerbread, orange peel, whipped cream and a hint of cedar wood is one of the organic distillery's oldest bottlings.

Tasting notes: This is how the Nc'Nean Aon 6 year old 1st-fill Bourbon Cask #17-232 tastes like
- Nose: spicy aromas of fresh gingerbread, Cardamom and light tannins, behind it fresh oranges and some fudge
- Palate: mouth-filling and soft - again the gingerbread, now more clearly fresh orange peel and fresh whipped cream - above all, spicy cedar wood and some leather
- Finish: long and soft in the finish - gingerbread, cardamom and cedar wood are present
