The 100 Proof Edition has been closing a gap in the Signatory range since the beginning of 2024. The single malts in the series are 57.1%vol. bottled, the minimum level at which gunpowder soaked in alcohol can be ignited. High percentages meet low prices.
The new price-performance hits of spring 2024 were all made with Oloroso Sherry >pre-filled barrels - the Caol Ila 2015 100 Proof Edition #10 combines strong coastal smoke with dark fruity sherry sweetness.

- Nose: ripe berries and dark stone fruit, plus slightly nutty aromas - over everything salty peat smoke
- Palate: becoming spicier in the taste, clear oak and gentle peat notes - followed by jam and olives
