At the beginning of spring 2024, Glenfarclas is presenting an Easter edition for the first time!
Casks from the 2013 vintage were selected for this bottling - all of which previously contained Spanish sherry.
The casks matured in the old Dunnage warehouse at Glenfarlcas and were blended together in February 2024 and bottled for a total of 3,000 bottles.
The amber-colored single malt was bottled exclusively for Germany and has a full-bodied character with complex sherry aromas, pronounced fruit notes and a tempting mix of dark chocolate and Demerara sweetness on the finish.

Tasting Notes: This is what the Glenfarclas 2013/2024 Easter Edition tastes like
- Nose: intense sherry aromas, malty with fine spice aromas, plus strong aromas of dark chocolate and sweet sherry
- Palate: mouth-filling and soft, now the chocolate and juicy dried fruits are stronger - raisins and prunes are present, behind them some malt and toffee
- Finish: long-lasting in the finish - the chocolate remains present, accompanied by a fine Demerara sweetness
