From “Bottler” to Andrew W. Symington became the distiller in 2002 with the takeover of the Edradour Distillery.
Produce whiskey in its most original form - that's what made “Scotland's Little”. Gem” has become a legend among Scotch fans. As one of the few distilleries in Scotland, Edradour produced its single malt exclusively in the distillery's old farm buildings until 2018. Some of them use equipment that has been around for more than 100 years and is rarely used in whiskey production anymore. This has not changed even after the completed expansion with Edradour II.
The Edradour 25 year old Batch No. 1 and the Edradour 30 year old are among the oldest bottlings from the favorite distillery of many connoisseurs. After considerable maturation, both were bottled from first-fill sherry butts into the elegant Ibisco decanters - the 30-year-old Highlander as a single cask bottling
