With the Kilchoman 16 Year Old, the Islay distillery is presenting its oldest bottling to date in 2023.
Only 21 Casks - former bourbon- and sherry-Casks - were selected and married together for this bottling.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Kilchoman 16 year old tastes like
- Nose: at the beginning vanilla, then aromas of butterscotch and caramel paired with soft peat smoke and maritime aromas
- Palate: full mouthfeel - again the characteristic vanilla notes of the bourbon barrels used, plus the fruity spicy notes from the sherry casks - an elegant balance with a deep structure
- Finish: long and soft in the finish, the flavors are wonderfully rounded and present for a long time
