Groundbreaking Whisky: Nc'nean Single Malt Scotch 3 year old Batch BR12 

Nc'nean looks ahead the future of the whisky world.  

The Single Malt Whisky is made from organically grown Scottish barley in a distillery that runs on 100 percent renewable energy.  

It is filled into the UK's first 100% recycled clear glass bottle.

" "Made by nature, not by rules" is the motto of one of the few women-run Whisky distilleries in the world.

Last year, Nc'nean became the first UK distillery to achieve net-zero emissions for its production - this year the distillery was granted B Corp status.  

 

The certification is awarded to companies that meet extremely high social and environmental standards and are therefore committed to goals that go beyond just making money.

Nc'nean Single Malt Scotch Whisky matures on the coast of the Morvern Peninsula in former Bourbon Barrels and STR Wine Barrels (STR = "scraped" or "shaved", "toasted", "recharred").

Like its predecessors, Batch BR12 develops its full aroma of citrus, peach, apricot and spices in just three years.  

Soft and uncomplicated, the whiskey appeals to experienced connoisseurs and whisky explorers.
