When the team around whisky luminary Billy Walker took over The GlenAllachie Distillery in 2017, including the filled casks and brought it back to Scottish hands, the Speyside distillery produced almost exclusively for the blending industry. This tide has turned quickly: The standard range from GlenAllachie now consists of single malts that are at least eight years old. Their characteristic: The standards mature primarily in selected sherry casks.
 
The The GlenAllachie 21 Year old is no exception. With expertise that spans over half a century, Billy Walker also combines handpicked Pedro Ximénez Sherry Puncheons for BATCH THREE. The result is a complex single malt full of mocha, sweet raisins and ginger biscuits. The vintage bottling is limited to only 2,400 bottles worldwide and was bottled at cask strength 51.5% vol. Bottled without coloring or chill filtration.
