Built in 1896, the Glenlee was one of ten steel sailing ships built by Archibald Sterling & Co. were commissioned. During her service she circumnavigated the world four times and passed the stormy coast of Cape Horn fifteen times. Today she is fully restored on the River Clyde, right next to the Riverside Museum in Glasgow Harbour, and is now a museum ship known as 'The Tall Ship'.
