The Amarone cask comes from Italy's renowned Valpolicella region, known for its high-quality Amarone wine production.
The Epicurean Single Amarone Cask is a full-bodied malt whisky with notes of dark chocolate, ripe cherries and a sensational spiciness.

- Nose: Soft aromas of ripe dark cherries and plums, becoming spicier behind them with cinnamon, coriander and cloves
- Palate: mouth-filling and soft - very harmonious - clear notes of preserved dark fruits, again the cherries, plus chocolate, cocoa and cinnamon - above all spicy Herbs
- Finish: medium-length, soft finish - the fruit and chocolate carry the finish, the spicy notes are present
