Once a small deli, Gordon & MacPhail is now one of the international experts in aging special Scotch whiskies. The company has been family-owned for four generations and has combined its own casks with distillates from over 100 Scottish distilleries.
The rather rare Auchroisk 2009/2022 from the Connoisseurs Choice series , was refined in Côte Rôtie Cask for more than two years. The barrel from the region known for top wines gives it lush notes of summer fruits.

- Nose: soft and fruity - clear aromas of ripe summer fruits, behind them some orange and slightly spicy aromas of cloves and allspice
- Palate: soft and harmonious in taste - again the summer fruits, plus cherries and plums, paired with mild honey - spicy notes in the background
- Finish: long on the finish - the fruity notes carry the finish - plus spicy oak and fresh herbs
