• Nose: Aromas of ashy peat, fresh citrus and sweet peat typical of Caol Ila - after a while aromas of smoked barley, lemon zest, campfire ash emerge and icing sugar
• Palate: dominated immediately by peat - with a little water, notes of biscuits, wax jackets, cigar leaves and cedar unfold
• Finish: haunting notes of peat smoke on the coast - with a touch of fantasy, you're instantly transported to a harbor wall on Islay
