Pioneering whisky: Nc'nean single malt scotch with new batch #16
Nc'nean looks ahead to the future of the whisky world.
The single malt whisky is made from organically grown Scottish barley in a distillery that is powered by 100 percent renewable energy.
It is filled in the first 100% recycled clear glass bottle in Great Britain.
"Made by nature, not by rules" is the motto of one of the few women-run whisky distilleries in the World.
Last year, Nc'nean became the first UK distillery to reach net-zero emissions for its production - this year the distillery was ranked as a B Corp company.
The certification is awarded to companies that meet extremely high social and environmental standards and are therefore committed to goals that go beyond just making money.
Nc'nean Single Malt Scotch Whisky matures on the coast of the Morvern Peninsula in former bourbon casks and STR wine casks (STR = "scraped" or "shaved", "toasted", "recharred").
Evolved like its predecessors Batch #16 also has its full aroma of citrus fruits, peach, apricot and spices in just three years.
Smooth and uncomplicated, the whiskey appeals to experienced connoisseurs and whisky explorers.
