For over ten years, this single malt whisky matured in the small highland distillery Edradour in a former Sherry Butt, distilled on October 12th, 2012, bottled with a very nice dark colour on October, 25th, 2022 to only 856 bottles.
Like all bottlings of the "Straight from the Cask" series, of course, without chillfiltration and no dyes!
Nose: ripe, dark berries, with dark cherries, raisins and figs - a slightly spicy aroma over everything
Taste: soft and mouth-filling - again the dark fruits and raisins, then develop notes of forest honey, chocolate and toffee - above all floats an elegant light spiciness
Finish: long and pleasantly sweet on the finish, clearly the sherry and the chocolate
