The Caol Ila 12 year old Sassicaia Cask Finish shows another side of the Islay malt with notes of dates, berry compote and pineapple. To do this, it matured for over a year in Casks that were pre-filled with Sassicaia, the only wine in Italy with its own DOC.

• Palate: mouth-filling and velvety smooth with strong notes of berry compote and slightly spicy oak - accompanied by fresh lemon peel and Demerara sugar
• Finish: long and spicy on the finish - dates and berries take a back seat and make way for more citrus peels and bonfire embers
