This "Distillery Labels" range by Gordon & MacPhail welcomes two newcomers to their ranks - an Ardmore and a Glentauchers.
Still a rarity as a single malt whisky: Glentauchers.
The relatively unknown Speyside distillery produces a smooth single malt whisky with notes of vanilla, candied orange peel, pear and white pepper - perfect for the discerning connoisseur.
Nose: initially fruity aromas of ripe oranges and apples, then milk chocolate and a hint of fresh vanilla pods
Palate: soft notes of pear compote and candied orange peel accompanied by fresh herbs and white pepper
Finish: sweet with lingering spice
