Dingle opens a Cask at the beginning of the year: new single cask for connoisseurs in Germany
The Dingle Distillery produces just four casks each day.
Built in an old sawmill, the independent whiskey distillery reflects the character of their hometown, Dingle.
The picturesque little town is situated on a peninsula on the southwest coast of Ireland, surrounded by rugged cliffs and the seemingly endless Atlantic.
Things are given their time here. Hurry? A foreign word.
Instead, manual work is a top priority - in every production step.
The likeable Master Distiller Graham Coull and his team personally lend a hand, from mashing in to separating the first, middle and last ends and bottling.
The result: Irish Single Malt Whiskey of the highest quality.
Gourmets in this country have the latest example of Dingle craftsmanship all to themselves: the Dingle 7 Years 2014/2022 Single Port Cask is only the distillery’s second single cask for the German market.
This time a cask of port wine was filled into a total of 312 bottles.
The red-brown single malt promises with an alcohol content of 59.6% vol. Cask Strength an abundance of dark fruity, smooth notes.
