To the delight of discerning connoisseurs, the range of rarities is now growing to include the GlenAllachie 14 year old 2008/2022 Marsala Barrique #1844.
The single cask for the German market is a treasure that is only available in limited quantities and is packaged accordingly: the gift box is embossed with gold on the outside and numbered by hand, and is lined with soft velvet on the inside.
The Speyside Single Malt, limited to 314 bottles, has matured in sweet and spicy Marsala barriques since August 2008.
Bottled at cask strength, it unfolds complex notes of glazed cherries, roasted toffee and chocolate along with the typical sweetness of heather honey and bright fruity notes of green apple and lime.
