The Work of Human Hands - Springbank and its sister distillery Glengyle produce their single malts 100% artisanal, traditionally and locally in Campbeltown.
As a result of the original processes, only small production capacities are available.
Every Campbeltown single malt whisky from the Springbank family J. & A. Mitchell & Co.Ltd. reveals its own style through different distillation stages and smoke intensities.
Kilkerran is a lightly peated, double distilled single malt whiskey bottled without coloring and chill filtration.
The seventh heavily peated bottling from the Glengyle distillery - bottled at cask strength with an exbourbon cask percentage of 90% and an ex-Sherry cask content of 10%.

Nose: fresh aromas of Morning dew in a pine forest, plus the scent of damp gooseberry bushes and hemp
Palate: peat in the foreground with the Kilkerran-typical sweetness of roasted marshmallows, plus lime juice and shortbread
Finish: again the sweet peat in the long finish, plus a salty note with tones of burnt pretzels and fresh green apples
