Whis-KI: Bunnahabhain Special with digital art
A strong, peat-smoky Bunnahabhain from Signatory's Un-Chillfiltered Range is now known among discerning connoisseurs.
But not one like the Bunnahabhain Staoisha 8 year old 2013/2022.
The Islay Single Malt exclusively for Germany does not flow with the usual 46% vol. alcohol content, but with 48 ABV in the nosing glass!
And: Its label was created by an artificial intelligence.
The digital artwork is based on a fragment of a song: "A tiny island so far away. In the middle of a foggy bay. An almost everlasting day. Somewhere out there. More may I not say."
Composed by artist and Kirsch Import employee Wiljalba, it describes a hidden, comforting, remote place that offers calm from restlessness.
The AI transforms the words into effect with amazing precision and creates an atmospheric portrait of the place of longing.
This is best enjoyed with a smoky, maritime dram in the glass and Wiljalba's voice in your ears.
