Diageo's lowland distillery Glenkinchie leaves their version of the Distillers Edition in former Amontillado -Sherry casks.
Nose: elegant balance between sweet and dry, aromas of vanilla and fresh grapes, plus nutty tones and malted barley - some oak
Palate: initially sweet notes of fresh pastry, then becoming drier with lots of malt and fruity grapes
Finish: very long finish - dry with spicy oak - in the background slightly peppery tones
