A lightly ruffled single malt from the Wolfburn distillery - sweet and smooth with hints of peat and a lovely depth - a rich, beautifully rounded malt whisky, matured in a combination
from first-fill ex-bourbon casks and second-fill quarter casks, handpicked by Wolfburn's master distiller, bottled at just over seven years old.
Nose: fresh sea air and spicy heather, plus peat smoke
Palate: rich and full-bodied with notes of sultanas and dates, syrup and honey - pleasantly sweet with notes of marzipan and Christmas cake
Finish: again the sweet tones with soft hints of heather honey, plus warm caramel
Outturn: 2,000 bottles - 480 bottles for Germany
