No less as the St. Lucia Distillers are responsible for the rum qualities under the name Admiral Rodney.
The Admiral Rodney rums celebrate Admiral George Rodney's famous naval victory over the French at the Battle of Les Saintes in 1782, where the British secured control of the Caribbean.
The names of the rums in this series come from of the ships that distinguished themselves in battle.
HMS Princessa, HMS Royal Oak and Admiral Rodney's flagship, HMS Formidable, shone in battle and "broke the line" of the French fleet.

Like the Chairman's Reserve rums, Admiral Rodney's rums are also distilled in the "St. Lucia Distillers".

The Admiral Rodney HMS Royal Oak is a blended rum made from seven to twelve year old rum qualities that matured in ex-bourbon casks.
Colour: light amber
Nose: Pleasant scent of prunes, raisins and toasted oak, with tropical spices behind
Palate: intense notes of sweet sultanas, tobacco and chocolate, behind them vanilla
Finish: complex finish with sweet fruits, caramel and spices.
