The Chairman's Reserve Legacy is a tribute to Laurie Barnard, the creator of "Chairman's Reserve" and his major contribution to the development and success of the St. Lucia Distillers.
The Chairman's Reserve Legacy is a blended rum made from rum qualities that were distilled in a John Dore pot still, a Vendome pot still and a Coffey still.
In addition to the usual molasses rums, rums made from sugar cane juice are also used, which give the blend a fresh touch.
Nose: sweet butterscotch and Aromas of raisins mix harmoniously with vanilla, tobacco and bananas - these impressions are accompanied by light, grassy hints
Palate: elegant notes of crème brulée, sultanas, ginger and vanilla
Finish: intense and complex, but still very soft in the long finish
