The Clément Rhum Vieux Agricole 15 years was matured for 15 years in burnt out ex-bourbon casks.
During its long maturity, the cask loses over 75% of its original volume through natural evaporation.
What remains, is an aromatic, highly concentrated rum of perfect finesse.
Nose: intense aromas of dark chocolate and mocha, with apple pie, fig jam and freshly cut wood.
Palate: elegant notes of dried spices and roasted nuts - followed by spicy wood, ripe plums, dark chocolate and tobacco
Finish: long, intense finish - again the spices and nuts - now the tab in the background ak and the plums
