Colorful Limited Edition: Glenfiddich collaborates with artist Santtu Mustonen
The Glenfiddich 18 Year Old Single Malt Whisky is experiencing a remake.
Finnish-born, New York-based artist Santtu Mustonen wraps the iconic bottlings in new and limited-edition packaging.
The limited edition is a fusion of creative interpretation and exquisite whisky taste and contains a 0.7l bottle of Glenfiddich 18 years and a hip flask that is also colorfully designed.
The premium gift boxes not only invite you to celebrate special people and moments at Christmas.
The design shows the world famous Glenfiddich deer in a new interpretation.
Santtu Mustonen's depiction is dominated by the highland spring Robbie Dhu, which has been Glenfiddich Distillery's sole water source since 1887.
The distillery's pagoda roofs complement the design.
The V symbol represents the home of Glenfiddich, The Valley of the Dear.
The festive ribbons pick up on the gift character of the limited edition.
The color of the design is coordinated with the flavors of the bottling.
After maturing in the finest exOloroso sherry and exBourbon Casks, the 18-year-old is married in individually numbered barrels for at least three months.
Each batch consists of approx. 150 Casks - three months of aging in specially built large Oak Casks (marrying tuns). Each bottle is individually numbered.
Nose: remarkably full aroma, ripe fruits and spicy apple, plus robust oak aromas
Palate: full-bodied, notes of fine dried fruits and candied citrus peel - behind that dates and again the oak
