Six to eight year old rum qualities from the Dominican Republic can be found in the Cristóbal Pinta, which matured in former bourbon casks.
Pinta is the name of the first ship that accompanied Columbus on several of his adventures to America.
Nose: gently spicy aromas, plus some vanilla and spicy oak wood - fresh herbs in the background , especially mint
Palate: full and rich in taste with clear notes of soft marzipan, plus the mint and herbs again
Finish: long and soft on the finish - the spicy oak tones are present again
