Mark Reynier, mastermind behind iconic whiskeys like Octomore, knows the raw material very well.
Now, for the first time, he combines peat from Ireland with Irish barley from individual farms and creates a unique terroir imprint.
Taste locality like never before, die-hard whiskey fans can now do that with Waterford Peated: Ballybannon 1.1.
The barley was kilned over peat from Bally dough in County Kildare - for Ballybannon to 47ppm phenolic content.
