The twelfth bottling of Kilchoman's 100% Islay Edition.
Kilchoman selected 29 exBourbon Barrels and 6 exOloroso Sherry Butts for this limited Vatting - all with fresh distillate filled between the years 2011 and 2013.
The distillation was made exclusively from the barley variety Publican with a medium-heavy phenol content of 20ppm, the malt matured for at least eight years.

Nose: elegant aromas of sweet peat smoke, plus Waves of ripe citrus and mild honey - vanilla and salted caramel in the background
Palate: the bourbon casks used produce a strong malt tone, followed by notes of green fruits - especially apples and pears - slightly spicy, paired with raisins and toffee
Finish: the peat smoke returns - oily, creamy texture with toffee and caramelized sugar in the long finish
