The Gauldrons (Gaelic for Bay of Storms) is a Vatted Malt from Campbeltown Malts.
The Blended Malt Whisky from the Remarkable Regional Malts series by Douglas Laing are named after the dark sandy beaches in the west of the Kintyre Peninsula.

The Scottish expression Gauldrons is a legend in Scotland inevitably connected - so you will find on the bottle and the gift pack a large spider web with a large spider.
King Robert the Bruce lost a battle on the beaches of Kintyre in the struggle for Scottish independence.
During this battle, Robert the Bruce spotted a spider trying to weave its web in defiance of all weather-related adversities - and, as a result, Robert the Bruce drew the strength to continue the Scottish independence struggle.

The Gauldrons - Cask Strength - Limited Edition
The bottling "The Gauldrons Cask Strength", limited to 3,120 bottles, is a marriage of single cask single malts that come exclusively from the Scottish town of Campbeltown.
The Gauldrons Cask Strength is presented in an elegant black bottle with a deep purple wax seal and glow-in-the-dark label giving a premium and fitting impression.

Cara Laing, Marketing Director, commented on the bottling by saying:
"We are extremely pleased to launch the second limited edition of our Campbeltown Malt Scotch Whiskey brand!
Bottled at natural cask strength, the blended malt reveals an exceptional combination of smoky sweetness and maritime saltiness - a dram we're dying to share with whiskey lovers around the world.
