Monumental Whisky enjoyment: The new Signatory Monuments
They are enthroned on mountains, overlook the sea or stand as an imposing memorial in a deserted landscape: thousands of monuments in Scotland commemorate times past, wars and heroes.
They are history set in stone that are a firm fixture on any Scotch fan's itinerary.
In cooperation with long-term partner Signatory Vintage, the German importer Kirsch Whisky will be bringing the landmarks to Whisky from September 2022.
In the new "Signatory Monuments" series, drinking-strength Single Casks become real monument drams.
Colossal: The label art builds on the talent of the well-known Swedish Whisky painter Petri Jäsperi.
Initially, three bottlings ensure monumental Whisky enjoyment.
The lightweight Linkwood 13 Year Old 2009/2022 1st-fill Sherry Butt Finish #12 Monuments Signatory adapts to the lofty heights of Stirling Castle, which overlooks Stirling's Old Town from Castle Hill.
All Whisky Monuments are bottled at drinking strength with an alcohol content of 43%vol.
For a full aroma, however, no chill filtration was used.
The single casks get their great color exclusively from Cask aging only.
