In 2021, three whisky enthusiasts from the Swiss Langatun distillery put a heart project into practice .
With the Long Valley Selection - inspired by the headquarters of the Baumberger family's traditional distillery and brewery in Langenthal in the Swiss canton of Bern - they entered the business field of independent bottlers.

The Long Valley Selection presents independent bottlings from Scotland's whisky regions, which - if necessary - are finished in selected casks for a certain maturation period to become the finest drops with a distinctive variety of tastes.

Mysterious in the naming... for legal reasons the name of the distillery can unfortunately not be mentioned - after all, the name "Secret Orkney" reveals the origin - and many people know that there are only two distilleries on the Orkney Islands...
