The independent bottler Signatory is in this fortunate position and regularly roams the warehouse of its own Edradour Distillery in the Scottish Highlands.
Exquisite single cask bottlings from the Edradour Distillery appear again and again in the Un-chillfiltered Collection.
The dark color of this bottling indicates intensive Sherry Cask aging - the Single Malts are consistently of high quality and an enjoyable highlight.
The Single Malt Whisky bottled here was bottled on May 30th, 2012, the Single Malt Whisky was aged for ten years in Cask Number #275, then the Cask was bottled on June 16th, 2022 in the Un-chillfiltered Collection.
Nose: Spicy oak and aromas of fresh pastries, plus rich sherry aromas, dark fruits, dates and raisins - some liquorice and fennel seeds
Palate: soft, almost creamy - again the pastry, plus caramel and floral notes - above all the sweet sherry notes, dark chocolate and a light spiciness
Finish: medium-length, warming finish with light sherry tones
