For over ten years, this single malt whisky matured in the small highland distillery Edradour in a former Sherry Butt, distilled on March 28th, 2012, bottled with a very nice dark colour on Juli 11th, 2022 to only 855 bottles.
Like all bottlings of the "Straight from the Cask" series, of course, without chill filtration and no dyes!
Nose: ripe, dark berries, with dark cherries, raisins and figs - a slightly spicy aroma over everything
Taste: soft and mouth-filling - again the dark fruits and raisins, then develop notes of forest honey, chocolate and toffee - above all floats an elegant light spiciness
Finish: long and pleasantly sweet on the finish, clearly the sherry and the chocolate
