The Puni Vina spends its entire aging period in barrels filled with (Stark -)Crying was preassigned (like the Marsala).
Made from barley, rye and wheat malts and aged in these Sicilian Marsala casks, this Italian whiskey is a rich, fruity whiskey with notes of plum and cinnamon.
Nose: Ripe dark grapes and juicy raisins start off, followed by rich aromas of fresh gingerbread and roasted nuts
Palate: Mouth-filling, almost creamy with intense fruity notes of juicy oranges, dark plums and black cherries, again gingerbread and dark chocolate - Christmas spices such as cinnamon and cardamom can be recognized
Finish: long and spicy on the finish - the fruity notes join in again
