The independent bottler Signatory selected four seven-year-old Hogsheads for the Bunnahabhain Staoisha 7 year old 2014/2022 Very Cloudy, married them, dispensed with chill-filtration and chose an alcohol content of 40%vol . intentionally low - the result is 1,800 bottles of an elegant, peaty and very cloudy single malt whiskey from the Scottish island of Islay.
The lack of chill filtration combined with the low alcohol content makes the whisky so cloudy and hazy in the bottle and in the glass.
The flavor carriers, oils and fats, remain in the whisky and make the single malt a true taste experience.
